What Kravictims is — and what it isn't.
Kravictims is an independent, community-maintained record of incident reports involving custodial cryptocurrency exchanges. This page sets out who we are, why we name the companies people report, and how to reach us to respond or request a correction.
Naming, not branding.
We name exchanges for one reason: to identify which business a report is about. Using a company's name to refer to that company — in consumer information, criticism, and reporting — is ordinary and lawful. We do not use any exchange's logo, colours, or styling, and we never suggest a report comes from, or is endorsed by, the company named. Naming an exchange in a report is a user's attestation about their own experience, not a finding of fact by us.
What “unverified” means here.
Every report is the reporter's own account. We moderate submissions for spam and obvious abuse only — we do not investigate claims, verify facts, or adjudicate disputes. Reports are published in anonymised form and clearly marked unverified. Nothing on this site is a finding that any company did anything wrong. See our verification & data policy for the detail on moderation and what we remove.
If something is wrong, tell us.
We want this record to be accurate. If you believe something here is factually incorrect, out of date, identifies a private individual, or otherwise should not be published, contact kraken-victims@proton.me. We review correction and removal requests promptly and in good faith, and will amend or take down material where the concern is well-founded. Legal and data-protection requests can be sent to the same address.
We never publish submitters' email addresses or personal contact details. Class-action interest registrations are held privately and shared only, in aggregate or with consent, with qualified legal counsel. Reporters can post anonymously.
Nothing here is legal or financial advice. We do not recover funds and never charge. Anyone contacting you claiming to recover funds “through Kravictims” — or asking for an upfront fee — is not us, and is almost certainly a scam.
